EndNote X.1

EndNote is the industry standard software for organizing references and creating bibliographies. With this program you can capture important resource information into libraries, which are yours to keep, even after you leave the University. Create and manage EndNote libraries, insert citations into a Word document using a feature called "cite while you write," and automatically format a bibliography with the capability of using many different styles (Annotated, APA, MLA, and dozens of other discipline-specific formats). Learn how to connect to a variety of library databases (from PubMed to the extensive UI library resources) to copy citation information into EndNote libraries using direct transfer, as well as creating export files from online databases and importing into EndNote. Another feature is the ability to organize PDF files. New features of version X1 include the ability to create groups to view and manage subsets of references, connectivity to the ribbon interface in Word 2007 for Windows, the Library Listings Display Now reveals all authors, a file attachments feature for organizing up to 45 files per reference, plus links to EndNote Web.
